⚾️ MLB Stars Face Off On The Golf Course ⛳️

This past weekend, the Grass League hosted a match for the record books. With spring training in full swing, baseball players are known to wander onto the golf course—especially in the evening hours.

But this past Saturday was different. Mike Trout, along with Los Angeles Angels pitching coach Barry Enright, challenged two Arizona Diamondbacks pitchers—Merrill Kelly and Zac Gallen—to a nine-hole match under the lights.

Barry Enright is actually a part of the Grass League, having played for the Hollywood Hitters in the 2024 GL Championship. So, Barry and Mike Trout played under the Hitters flag. As for the Diamondbacks duo, Merrill Kelly actually attempted to qualify for the Phoenix United team in the December event but came up a few strokes short. Regardless, Merrill considers himself a part of Phoenix United—especially given that he plays for the hometown baseball team.
