Top Free Agent Pickups for The GL Championship

The 2025 Free Agent window has come and gone and Franchises have rounded out their rosters leading into the GL Championship. The Gila River Resorts and Casinos Season Long Race was a big factor when it came to the Free Agency window. Certain Franchises stood pat with their rosters whereas other Franchises did substantial roster house cleaning.

Here are the most Notable Free Agent Additions: 

1. Colt Knost | Hollywood Hitters: 

   Colt is arguably the biggest splash of the Free Agency period. You could argue that’s because of his constant media presence between CBS Sports and his Subpar Golf podcast, but the league shouldn’t sleep on his golf accolades. Colt played 5 years on the PGA Tour, is a two time winner on the Korn Ferry Tour, and won both the US Amateur as well as the US Amatuer Public Links in 2007.
   
   Colt joins an already “loaded” Hollywood Hitters roster who have vastly underperformed in 2025. They currently sit in 7th place entering the GL Championship and it’s clear the Hitters management has begun to feel the pressure. If there was a player built for the Grass League, Colt Knost would be it. Never a long player. Colt is still known as one of the most precise irons players and has made enough big putts to check all the boxes.
